Create, review, and publish a saved game
Plan publicly and create durable account-owned game data only at publication.
For: Hosts
Before you start: requirements and access
- A court or manual venue, future schedule, and intended capacity. An account is required to publish.
Steps
- Open Create game. In Plan, enter the game name, court/address, date, and start/end times. For temporary courtside play instead, choose Start Quick Play beside Continue to players at the bottom of this first step.
- In Players and access, set player capacity, court count, visibility, and approval policy. New games start with a player limit of 4; you can change it. Drafts and replayed games keep their existing limit. Choose Decide later, Free, or Collect payment; Collect payment records intent only, with price and instructions set afterward in Game settings → Payments. The form supports 2–40 players and 1–20 courts; actual Play has additional eligibility requirements.
- Use optional Details for color, player notes, and booking information, or continue without them.
- Read Review and use Edit to correct an earlier stage. Signed-out hosts choose the authentication option here; return to the restored Review and explicitly publish.
- After publication, use Share game, Show QR, or Preview shared link for public/link-only games. Private games direct you to account invitations instead.
