Handle queue changes, closed courts, and reconnecting
Recover from stale or interrupted courtside state without inventing scores or losing the crew’s place.
For: All viewers; court/queue/cancellation controls are organizer-only
Before you start: requirements and access
- Access to a live saved game. A network connection is needed for collaborative changes.
Steps
- If Relay shows reconnecting or read-only state, wait for the authoritative refresh before relying on assignments or saved scores.
- For attendance changes, use availability. Organizers can use the available court and queue controls; read the current order before reordering.
- Close an unavailable court through its organizer control. Its active match can finish and history stays; it receives no new assignment.
- If a match must be voided, use the cancellation control and give a clear reason. In Paddle Stack this affects that court; synchronized modes cancel the affected rotation.
- After a stale-change error, reload, review the latest courts/queue/scores, and retry only what remains necessary.
