Record scores and finish a match

Use live controls or enter a final result, then confirm before the rotation advances.

For: Host; Going co-hosts; signed-in Going players assigned to the court

Before you start: requirements and access
  • An active saved-game match and permission to score. Guests and unassigned viewers can read/expand scores but cannot change them.

Steps

  1. Open Play and confirm the court and both teams before entering points. While live, Players opens a compact roster panel. Close it with the X, Escape, or the dimmed area outside without resetting scores or roster inputs. Courts, Queue, Results, Standings and Manage use the same compact tabs as Quick Play. On phones, move queue entries up or down; desktop also offers move-to-top and move-to-end controls.
  2. Use plus/minus controls for live scoring or enter the final score. Use Swap sides in the scoreboard header to switch the displayed teams without changing their scores. This view choice applies on your device and resets when the scoreboard reloads. Use the expand icon (Full screen) if needed; move between active courts there and use its close control or Escape to return.
  3. If a version conflict appears, read the restored saved score and deliberately retry only the still-needed change.
  4. Choose Finish match, review the teams and final score, then confirm. A winner is required; a tie cannot be finished.
  5. Read the next assignment. Paddle Stack can rotate a court independently; synchronized modes require every active court to finish.
  6. Check Up next below the active courts while waiting. Paddle Stack shows who should prepare for the next available court without guessing the current winner. Synchronized formats show who is waiting this round and confirm assignments after all courts finish. Hosts and co-hosts start the displayed lineup from Up next; players and shared-link viewers see the same preview without start controls. If another device changes the lineup, review the refreshed teams before trying again.
